Standing in the Reformed tradition and birthed out of the Second Great Awakening, Westside Cumberland Presbyterian Church offers the community of Rio Rancho a distinctive Christian witness: emphasis on the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, salvation by grace alone, and the joy of new life in the Spirit. As one member shared: "I have been in many churches in many places [due to her husband's career] but have never worshipped in a church like Westside where the presence of God is so clearly evident."
